Sam - Let's face it, Sam thinks he's All That and a Cherry On Top, but in fact, not even the cherry part might be true. He's one of those demons who spend all their freetime honing their skills, growing more powerful one fireball at a time, preparing for the day when they step out of their precious little cave to pick a fight with some particularily awesome opponent - and walk out of it victoriously and possibly even alive. FOR GREAT JUSTICE!
In Sam's own mind, he's something like ten feet tall, packed with muscles, and the sexiest thing a Succubus has ever laid her tentacles on. Outside of it he's a scrawny little grump who probably won't be allowed on most amusement park rides with a "You Have To Be This Tall" sign displayed at the entrance.
And, yeah, he got careless and broke off one of his horns in an accident. He has yet to realize just how fatal that really is.
Cecil - A rather mysterious and suspiciously polite individual. Barely seems to qualify as a demon, and much to Sam's dismay Cecil has, for some reason, decided that it would be a wonderful idea to follow him around wherever he'll go.
Turns out he does know a lot of useful trivia about Sam's condition and the world they live in (also the locations of some great underground pubs), but what the heck's up with that guy, anyway?
The Cleaner - A creature with otherworldly eyes that seems to be following Sam around ever since his horn broke off. It stays in shadows and other demons seem less than thrilled to find that one is hanging around that close by. For all Sam knows or cares it's some kind of creepy groupie out to get his autograph.
Spoiler: It isn't.
